Organization:Doctors AI Education and Research Foundation (the “Foundation”), operating the Indian College of AI in Medicine (ICAIM)

This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and is published in accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. It does not require physical or digital signatures.

By accessing or using our website, membership services, programs, or events (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Definations:

  • “DoctorsAI / ICAIM / we / us / our” refers to the Foundation and its initiatives, including ICAIM.

  • “User / you” refers to any visitor, member, participant, or person using our Services.

  • “Content” includes text, graphics, videos, course materials, documents, webinars, templates, and other materials hosted or shared by us.



    • 1. Who We Are

    Doctors AI and ICAIM are educational and professional platforms advancing AI literacy and responsible adoption of AI in medicine through memberships, events, workshops, courses, and curated content.

    2. Eligibility

    You must be 18+ and legally capable of contracting under Indian law to use this website and/or enroll in paid offerings.

    3. Services & Communications

    We may offer:

    • ICAIM memberships,

    • workshops/events/summits,

    • certification courses and educational programs,

    • newsletters, learning resources, and community initiatives.

    By registering, you agree to receive essential service communications (transactional/operational). Promotional communications will be sent where you have opted in, and you may opt out where applicable.

    4. Account, Registration & Accuracy

    You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login/registration details and activities conducted under your account.

    5. Fees, Payments & Invoices

    Certain offerings require payment. Payments are processed via third-party payment gateways; we do not store payment credentials. Taxes (including GST, where applicable) may be charged as per law and invoice rules.

    6. Refunds / Cancellations

    Refund eligibility (if any), timelines, deductions, and administrative charges (if any) will be defined in the relevant program/event registration page or a separate Refund Policy. If no refund terms are stated for a specific activity, fees are treated as non-refundable.

    7. Intellectual Property

    All content on the website (text, graphics, logos, course materials, videos, documents), unless stated otherwise, belongs to Doctors AI Education and Research Foundation or its licensors.
    You may use materials for personal learning only. Reproduction, redistribution, recording, resale, or republication without written permission is prohibited.

    8. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    • post/share unlawful, harmful, misleading, or defamatory content,

    • misuse community platforms or harass others,

    • attempt unauthorized access, disrupt services, or introduce malware,

    • use the platform for unauthorized advertising/solicitation,

    • violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

    We may restrict access or terminate membership/registration for violations.

    9. User Submissions (Feedback/Forms/Abstracts)

    If you submit content (feedback, abstracts, survey responses), you grant us permission to use it for academic, educational, and operational purposes. We will not publish personally identifiable information without consent, unless required by law.

    10. Third-Party Links

    We may link to third-party resources. We do not control or endorse their content and are not responsible for their practices.

    11. Educational Disclaimer

    All content is for education and awareness only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Clinical decisions must be made by qualified professionals with appropriate context.

    12. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doctors AI/ICAIM shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential losses arising from your use of the website, content, or participation in programs/events.

    13. Changes to Services and Terms

    We may update offerings, prices, schedules, and these Terms. Updates will be posted on the website. Continued use indicates acceptance.

    14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

    These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kolkata, West Bengal shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
