ABOUT US
DoctorsAI is a physician‑led global community and not‑for‑profit initiative dedicated to advancing responsible, evidence‑based, and clinically meaningful use of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare. Founded with the belief that AI in medicine must be shaped by doctors—not imposed on them—DoctorsAI has evolved into a trusted platform for education, research, dialogue, and collaboration at the intersection of medicine and technology.
Over the past few years, DoctorsAI has grown into a vibrant international network of clinicians, researchers, educators, data scientists, and healthcare leaders. What began as a learning community has matured into an ecosystem that actively builds AI literacy, promotes ethical adoption, and catalyzes real‑world clinical innovation.
DoctorsAI operates under the DoctorsAI Education and Research Foundation, a registered not‑for‑profit organisation, reinforcing its academic, ethical, and public‑interest orientation.

VISION
To build a globally respected, physician‑driven academic and research ecosystem that sets standards for ethical AI adoption in healthcare, fosters interdisciplinary innovation, and positions clinicians as leaders—not passive users—in the AI transformation of medicine.

MISSION
To empower healthcare professionals with the knowledge, skills, and collaborative ecosystem required to understand, evaluate, develop, and responsibly deploy Artificial Intelligence in medicine—improving patient care, clinical workflows, research quality, and health system outcomes.
1. Physician‑Centric AI Education
DoctorsAI delivers structured, practical, and clinically grounded AI education through:
Webinars, workshops, update hours, and journal clubs
Hands‑on learning experiences focused on real clinical use cases
Formal certification programs such as the Certificate Course on Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (CCAIM)
Our educational philosophy emphasizes critical thinking over hype, enabling clinicians to ask the right questions of AI systems rather than accept them as black boxes.
2. Academic Research & Validation
DoctorsAI actively supports:
Clinician‑led AI research and validation studies
Ethical study design, data governance, and reporting standards
Multi‑center collaborations and peer‑reviewed dissemination
We strongly advocate that AI in healthcare must be clinically validated, bias‑aware, transparent, and outcome‑driven.
3. Responsible AI & Ethics
DoctorsAI places ethics at the core of all its activities, with sustained focus on:
Bias, fairness, and equity in AI systems
Data privacy, consent, and governance
Human‑in‑the‑loop clinical workflows
Accountability and explainability in medical AI
This commitment is reflected in our academic programs, policy discussions, and research priorities.
4. Community & Global Collaboration
DoctorsAI functions as a collaborative platform that:
Connects clinicians across specialties and geographies
Encourages dialogue between medicine, technology, academia, and industry
Supports global exchange of ideas while retaining strong Indian clinical context
The Indian College of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (ICAIM) was established in 2025 as the dedicated academic and research arm of DoctorsAI, responding to the growing need for specialty‑based, structured, and faculty‑led engagement in medical AI.
ICAIM provides an institutional academic framework for advancing AI in medicine through education, research, governance, and leadership development.
ICAIM’s Academic Structure
ICAIM operates through a clearly defined academic hierarchy:
Dean
Dean’s Council
Specialty‑Based Faculty Leads
These Faculty Leads anchor discipline‑specific activities, guiding research themes, educational content, validation studies, and ethical discussions relevant to their specialties.
DoctorsAI and ICAIM are committed to shaping the next phase of AI in healthcare by:
Strengthening specialty‑driven research and validation
Expanding global academic collaborations
Supporting clinician‑led innovation and publications
Building capacity in ethics, regulation, and governance of AI
Above all, we remain guided by a simple principle:
AI in medicine must serve patients, support clinicians, and uphold trust.
DoctorsAI and ICAIM continue to grow as communities of learning, leadership, and responsibility—where medicine leads, technology follows, and ethics guide every step.
We need more volunteers to take our activities forward! Pitch in with your interest.
